Four days to go to the start of this year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and the race forecast is shaping up interestingly! We bring you an update on where the weather models are starting to converge and what that may mean for the various parts of the fleet. Much can change in the forecast before the start, but it’s looking like a very fast race for the front runners.

Wendy Tuck and Meg Niblett
What do you do when the boat you have chartered to race in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race suddenly becomes unavailable, just days before race entries are closed?
The answer for Two Handers Wendy Tuck and Meg Niblett was to put the word out there on the Two Handers WhatsApp group and see what happens.
They struck lucky with Rob Drury offering them his Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600, Gizmo for the race.
When we spoke with Wendy and Meg in late November, they had only sailed the boat once, but were confident that their prior sailing together and their considerable offshore experience would see them get swiftly up to speed.
